Bodhipin Monastery in Mandalay blasted injuring a man

Myanmar Police Forces reported that an explosion occurred in the Bodhipin Monastery located in Maha Aung Myay township of Mandalay in which a man was injured.
The explosion site locates near downtown Mandalay where there are many street shops usually crowded with youngsters.
Mandalay is the capital that represents the cultures and Buddhism of Myanmar.
The incident happened on September 1 at an estimated 10 am in Maha Aung Myay township’s Mahasin residential ward between 40th and 41st streets and between 71st and 72nd streets when residents and township-level departmental officials were conducting a meeting at the temple located west of the Bodhipin Pagoda.
Two terrorists driving a motorcycle along the 40th road threw a hand-made bomb into the monastery compound and ran away, according to the police.
The bomb exploded on the brick stairs of the north gate of the temple; a man named Win Oo (62 age) who was at the scene got injuries from the flying debris of the bomb, the police said.
Another hand-made bomb that had not been exploded was found in a roadside dump between the 40th and 41st streets, approximately 200 yards away from the explosion site, Myanmar Police Forces announced.
