The Chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) Than Htay declares retirement from the leadership of the party during the party’s third conference.
The third conference of the USDP kicked off today (October 4) after its second conference was held in 2016.
The chairman Than Htay reportedly left the party’s leading role as taking responsibility for his failure to protect thousands of his members from terror assaults by the NUG-affiliated PDF across the country; and health conditions of chronic back pain.
The party conference of the USDP will end tomorrow.
