Ko Ko Gyi highlights necessity of role of mainland political parties

88 generation leader, as well as, the chairman of #People’s_Party, #Ko_Ko_Gyi underlined the role and necessity of the political parties from the mainland even though destructive forces try to oppress the establishment of political parties in the mainland.
Party chairman Ko Ko Gyi said, "We are experiencing deaths, damages and chaos. We don’t know what outcomes will be attained? We should emphasize the result-oriented approach. Although it has been 70 years of the civil war, political parties and organizations always exist. Then, aren’t those political parties needed now especially in the mainland. The ethnic parties have their armed wings. The ethnic parties aren’t threatened by their armed wings. So, can’t we establish the political party? Is it that political parties are no longer necessary.”
After the State Administration Council (SAC) enacted the Political Parties Registration Law and bylaws, there has been some parties registered at the Union Election Commission (UEC).
He also highlighted stakeholders should push forward to hold the multiparty election after generations have sacrificed lives and souls.
He continued, establishing a political party and running for the election is to advocate for democracy, federal and humanitarian via the political path.
Ko Ko Gyi pledged that the People’s Party will try the best to stand for the public on the democratic side.
