Yangon’s central pavilion for 2023 Thingyan expected to exist at People’s Square Park

The Central Pavilion, district pavilions and departmental pavilions at regional level for the upcoming #Water_Festival 2023 are planned to construct at the People’s Square Park, according to the Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC).
The YCDC conducted a coordination working committee on March 4 at Yangon City Hall discussing to hold the Myanmar traditional Water Festival in Yangon safely.
Splashing pavilions and entertainment pavilions will be constructed at the People’s Square Park.
The State Administration Council conducted the 2022 Thingyan under the guardian of Tatmadaw’s tight security.
Opposition terrorists intimidated the average people not to be bestowed in the country’s national symbolic festival this year and last year.
Last year, a terror network with sixteen PDF terrorists who intended to commit terrorist attacks in Yangon territory during the Thingyan festival was seized on the days just before the Water Festival was commenced.
Last year marked the very first Thingyan festival with defense security in the country’s history as it was joyful without threats even back in the bygone British rule.
