Six injured in blast at post and telecom office in Mandalay

An #explosion occurred at the office of Post and Telecom Department in downtown Mandalay injuring six including two departmental officers.
The incident happened on March 20 at an estimated 11 am at the Regional Post and Telecom Department in Chan Aye Thar Zan township, the downtown area of Mandalay, according to the source close to security forces.
A man entered into the office compound and threw a grenade into the office and left along 83rd road. The grenade landed in the office and exploded. In the explosion, two administration officers, three clerks and a junior clerk were injured, the source said.
Wounded persons were sent to the Mandalay General Hospital for providing medical treatment. On the other hand, authorities are investigating to seize the committed criminals.
