Myanmar expects to generate electricity based on nuclear energy

Chairman of the State Administration Council, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, informed that the State’s electricity is projected to generate from the #nuclear_energy.

Senior General underlined it during the meeting of National Planning Commission (1/2023) that was held on March 21.

He also stressed that electricity requirements have to be reduced. Instead, solar energy, win power energy, coal and steam based oxyfuel combustion technology, and nuclear energy should be promoted to improve the electricity sector.

Senior General also urged to construct the necessary infrastructure for the electricity production.

Initial projects for import and effective use of electric vehicles have been implementing for the sustainability and improvement of the relevant sector, said Senior General continuing to expect build carbon-free environment.
