One died; four wounded in car bomb planted by KNLA in Bago

The State Administration Council (SAC) announced that the KNLA terrorist group set the land mine that exploded, and injuring four and killing one in Kyaukyi township, Bago region.

The incident occurred in the morning of March 30 at an estimated 9:40 pm near Yanmyoaung bridge on the expressway of Natthankwin - Kyaukkyi.

The stone track driven by Sein Min with 4 others travelling from Nattankwin to Kyaukkyi stepped the land mine set by KNLA near Yanmyoaung bridge and exploded, according to the SAC.

One man died and four others injured in the explosion.

The wounded persons were sent to the Kyaukkyi Townships Hospital and the security forces have been conducting necessary security operation, according to the SAC statement.
