Russian Defence Deputy Minister received Myanmar’s high rank honorary title “Thiri Pyanchi”

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing presented #Thiri_Pyanchi title and insignia to Russian Federation’s Deputy Minister for Defence Colonel General Alexander Vasilievich #Fomin for his excellent performance in cooperation for the development, peace and prosperity of Myanmar.
The honorary titles and insignia conferring ceremony was held in Naypyidaw on 3rd April 2023.
At the ceremony, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Russian Deputy Minister for Defence Colonel General Alexander Vasilievich Fomin, Russian Federation Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Nikolay Listopadov, Military Attaché Colonel Sergey Kurchenko, President of Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of SciencesDr Professor Vitaly Vyacheslavovich Naumkin and officials attended.
Russian Federation’s Deputy Minister for Defence Colonel General Alexander Vasilievich Fomin also expressed the words of thanks saying that he will insert more effort for the country and he prayed for Myanmar to have greater success and development.
It is reported that the Honorary Title of “Thiri Pyanchi” goes to those who strived for the sake of the Union of Myanmar. The Russian Deputy Minister for Defence was awarded such a title for his great endeavours to benefit Myanmar and its people and his strenuous efforts to help the Myanmar Armed Forces while enhancing friendly relations and bilateral cooperation between Russia and Myanmar.
Also on 19th November 2022, the Minister of Defence of Russian Federation, H.E Army General Sergey Kuzhugetovich #Shoigu was conferred the ‘#Sithu_Title’.
Mr. Alexander Vladimirovich #OSTROVSKY from Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (#FSMTC) of Russian Federation also conferred the country’s national honorary award of ‘First Class Medal of the Excellent Performance in Administrative Field’ in November 2022.
