Trafficker who sold 7 to online scam in Laos charged 25 years imprisonment

According to the information released by the State Administration Council (SAC), a female trafficker who sold seven to an online scam business located in Laos was charged 25 years of prison term.
According to report, seven of both genders aged ranging from 19 to 22 were deceived by a woman name Soe Soe (aka) Moe Moe Oo from Natmauk, Magway Region that they will get the jobs in Laos with average salary of 1,500,000 MMK per month.
However, all seven youths were sold to an online scam instead of a game shop.
Therefore, the trafficker was filed under human trafficking law’s Section 24 and 25. She was charged a total of 25 years prison term by Ottara Thiri District Court, Naypyidaw.
