Myanmar, China discuss collaboration in science, technology and innovation projects

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw met with Professor Yin Hejun, the Minister of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China on 5th November in China’s Chongqing City and discussed to strengthening collaboration of both countries in science, technology and innovation.
Afterward, both parties signed the Implementation Memorandum on cooperative technology and innovation works.
Talk also involved production of high-quality, safe, and nutritious high-value food technology and chemical technology innovation; and exchanging students and teachers for further studies.
Then, the Union Minister visited the International Science Cooperation and Exchange Centre in Chongqing, the Jinfeng Laboratory, and the Western Science City Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Centre.
