The 118th Anniversary of Yangon Zoological Garden is scheduled to be held for four days on 25-28 January from 8 am to 4 pm, according to its officer.

In addition, music band & dance performance, magic show, opportunities for taking photos with tame animals, game programs for children, quiz shows and market fairs will also be included in the festival.

In the Yangon Zoological Garden, there are a total of 1,065 animals of 135 species, comprising 49 species of 465 mammals, 68 species of 427 birds, and 18 species of 183 reptiles on 58.16 acres of lands located in Mingalar Taungnyut Township.

The entrance fees set at 2,500 kyats for adults and 1,500 kyats for children.

The Yangon Zoological Garden is regarded as the oldest zoo in the Southeast Asian countries, and on January 25, it reached to 118 years.
