Bombs blast 4-times consecutively within minutes in Pyay near departmental offices

Explosions occurred sequentially in Pyay at least four times within a few minutes. The report states that the bombs went off near the departmental offices on 23 February at an estimated 4 am.

A reliable source closed to the security forces told that Statesman News Journal, “The incident happened at around 4 am. It seems like the bomb went off once in every ten minutes for four times. The immigration office and departmental staff housings are located near the explosion.”
Although no casualty occurred during the incident, a bomb that had not yet blasted was also seized near the scene.

The report also stated that No. 5 Basic Education High School, office of the Road Transportation Department and other departmental offices are located near the explosion site. It had been just a week that the Tatmadaw security forces withdrew the troops from guarding those public places.
