Weather forecast: Temperature likely high very much in towns and cities including Yangon in April

According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH), daytime temperature is forecasted to increase in some regions and states including Yangon in April.

The DMH released the weather forecast for April on 28 March.

During April, Naypyidaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyawady, and Taninthayi regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon states will be 1.5 degrees Celsius and avove higher than the average April’s temperature.

In addition, it is also forecasted to have rain from 7 to 12 days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi regions, and Kachin and Chin states, and 1 to 6 days in Naypy­idaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, and Ayeyawady regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon states.

The DMH announced on 1 March that when the daytime temperature rises in summer, strong winds, rain, and hail may also occur.

In addition, DMH also informed that daytime temperatures may rise gradually during summer, in March, April and May, in all parts of the country.
