NSPNC soon to meet workgroup of political parties for first time

The National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) under the State Administration Council (SAC) schedules to meet with the work group of the political parties soon for the first time.

The NSPNC and the workgroup of political parties are expecting to meet and discuss in Naypyidaw on 18 and 19 June, according to Arakan Front Party Chairman Dr. Aye Maung.

"There is also an invitation from NSPNC for 18 and 19 June. Regarding to this, preparations have been made as the work group of the political parties. We selected 16 out of 47 parties for the meeting. Among them, four parties will be involved in the leading role. On 15 June, the parties will hold a meeting and will follow NSPNC's agenda," Dr. Aye Maung told The NP News.

People's Party Chairman U Ko Ko Gyi and Arakan Front Party Chairman Dr. Aye Maung were also elected as leaders of the workgroup of political parties.

Therefore, on 18 and 19 June, the dialogue between NSPNC and the workgroup of political parties will be an official dialogue for the first time.
