The PDF terrorists attacked Singu Township, in Mandalay Region with drop bombs. They blocked all transportation channels, a resident from Singu reported to the NP News.
“They (the PDFs) attacked with drop bombs. The residents in Singu were really afraid of the situation. Besides, they cut all trees along the way to Mandalay to block the roads,” the resident said.
He continued, “Therefore, some people couldn’t leave the town and remained in Singu. They could not displace to the safe places.”
According to the residents, the city has already been damaged 50 percent of the town by the attacks made by the PDF terrorists and it will take time to restore the city with resettlements.
The township was a territory with peace and stability where the economy was normally operated before.
“Our township was stable with peace and the economy was normally circulating. Most of the people in our township are middle-class persons who run their own businesses. But now, it is not easy to back to normalcy after occurring clashes. War does not benefit to the people,” the resident said.
PDF terrorists in Mandalay Region with the name of MDY PDF initiated the clashes in Singu Township in the first week of July. The Singu residents experienced sudden clashes including high prices of commodities and struggles to survive in clashes.
