Over 900 million kyats, gold items returned to owners from Sky Villa

Since March 30, 2025, clearance operations have been underway at the earthquake-damaged Sky Villa. During the process, over 900 million kyats in cash, approximately 4 ticals of gold, gold jewelry and other valuable were found and returned to their respective owners.
Currently, building (A) of Sky Villa revmains to be cleared, and the government along with various organizations, is continuing the effort.
A temporary office has been set up at Sky Villa to manage the return of recovered belongings, and owners are required to claim their property there.
Local groups and organizations are also continuing to assist with relief efforts in areas affected by the Mandalay earthquake.
