Non-CDM midwife murdered in Sagaing Region

A midwife from a rural health department who did not join the Civil Disobedience Movement and assists the rural people’s healthcare was arrested and murdered by the terrorists on June 3 afternoon, according to the announcement released by the State Administration Council.
The incident took place when the midwife Nwe Nwe Soe was staying at her home, approximately 20 armed terrorists came and destroyed the house. Then, the victim was kidnapped and brought to a place four miles away from the village.
The victim was stabbed and chopped with knives near the bank of Linyin-Padu road; and died at the scene.
Authorities continue investigating the incidents as per the security procedures to take legal actions against the terrorists who murdered the non-CDM midwife, the SAC announced.
