80 houses destroyed in fire ablaze in Magwe; weapons seized

Village located in Pauk, Magwe Region was torched in which approximately 80 residential houses were destroyed on July 15, according to the statement released by authorities.

As reported by the public, the security forces investigated the scene and found that 80 houses were destroyed in the fire. Rescue procedures were provided to the villagers, the statement said.

The security forces also examined the village and seized one hand-made gun, one hand-made rocket, three hand-made bombs, two grenades, 99 mines, ammunition, and other weapon-making equipment including balls, wire tapes, sulfur, and others, according to the statement.

On May 4 and 5, Chatkan Village and Kya-O Village in Pauk were torched in which more than 60 houses were destroyed.
