Fire exchanges between military and PDF in Myinmu, Sagaing

The military and PDF exchanged fire during the military raid when the PDF held a meeting.
The shooting took place on August 1, 2022 near Latpankyin Village located in Myinmu Township of Sagaing Region, according to the statement released by the authority.
Five PDFs were killed in the clash. Authorities seized four hand-made guns, four hand-made bombs, ammunitions and two non-licensed vehicles.
Another camp was found 500 meters away north-west from the village, in which, 13 hand-made guns, four hand-made rocket launchers, 1400 bullets, seven grenades, two 40 MM bombs, ammunitions and related weaponry, one drone machine, eight walky-talkies, four non-licensed vehicles, 30 non-licensed motorbikes, nine tents, foods and medicines were seized, according to the statement.
40 men and 73 women from the village were detained for investigation. Those who do not relate to the terror plots will be released, the statement said.
