Nearly 3500 civilians died, 3100 injured in terror incidents as of July 23, 2022

A total of 3,483 unarmed civilians died whereas 3,106 were injured in the terror incidents that happened from February 1, 2021 to July 23, 2022, State Administration Council confirms today’s press conference held in Naypyidaw.
This damage inflicted involved civil servants, educational workers (teachers), health workers, administrative personnel, Buddhist monks and nuns, children, and lay citizens.
Amongst, 577 residential (ward and village) administrators, 27 civil servants, 48 teachers, 11 health workers, 52 Buddhist monks, 78 children, and 2,690 civilians were victims of terror killings by terrorists.
Amongst, 52 Buddhist monks and one nun were killed; most were murdered in Sagaing Region.
Most murders occurred in Sagaing Region. Still, the murder rate is still increasing countrywide.
