Bomb blasts near court in Yangon’s Mayangone Tsp injuring two

An explosion occurred near Mayangone Township Court in Yangon yesterday in which one man and one woman were injured.
The incident took place on August 26 at an estimated 11:30 am somewhere on the platform located in the 5th Ward of Mayangone Township on Pyay Road. The crime scene was a stone's throw away from Mayangone Township Court.
“A woman who was selling things near the office and a man who came to apply labour card registration got injured in the incident,” a source told NP News. The two injured were sent to North Okkalapa Hospital providing medical treatment.
Generation Guerilla-GYG claimed responsibility for the bombing. It stated, “We, the GYG, attacked the Mayangone 8-mile Court that processes as per the military council order.”
On 14th October 2021, the Mayangone Township Court was attacked with a grenade by Free Tiger Ranger (Insein Township).
