School in Kawlin attacked by handmade rocket launcher

No. 1 Basic Education High School located in Myogone Myoma Ward in Kawlin township, Sagaing Region was attacked by a handmade rocket launcher, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.
Terrorists committed the attack on October 3 at an estimated 4 pm, the statement said.
The rocket dropped on the two-stories building damaging the roof and school materials, according to the statement.
Authorities are investigating the case to identify and take action against those who committed it.
On December 3, 2021, an explosion occurred near the school by a group of anti-school protestors at an estimated 8:15 am in which two members of security forces and a school guard were injured.
