732 sabotages of public transportation occur; mostly in Sagaing and Yangon – SAC

The State Administration Council (SAC) released an announcement that a total of 732 sabotages of public transportation including bridges and roads with landmines within one and seven months across the country and mostly happened in Yangon and Sagaing.
The SAC released this information on 12 October.
“The terrorists not only brutally killed civilians and civil servants but also destroyed state-owned buildings, departmental offices, and public places. The terrorists set mines, torch and explode the transportation sectors including roads and bridges that were constructed over a long period by successive governments with the State budget for regional development and better transportation,” the statement expresses.
From 1st February 2021 to 30th September 2022, there were 13 times in Naypyidaw, 37 times in Kachin, nine times in Kayah, 16 times in Kayin, five in Chin, 11 in Tanintharyi, 43 in Bago, 47 in Magwe, 53 in Mon, one in Rakhine, 17 in Shan and ten in Ayeyarwady that the terrorists exploded and destroyed the public transportation within one year and seven months, the SAC announced.
The most destructive attacks happened in Sagaing Region 186 times followed by 183 times in Yangon and 101 times in Mandalay.
Again, the State lost a total of 4,060.614 million kyats in the sabotage of 64 towers from 15 power lines by the terrorists.
