Army Chief urges to vow and respect the NCA provisions

Chairman of the State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing solemnly urges the stakeholders from the political spectrum to vow and respect the provisions of Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement.
He addressed this message during his speech on the 7th Anniversary of signing Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement which falls today (October 15).
“All should recognize the values of having peace and stability and situations when lack of peace. I hereby urge all, from my deep heart, to respect the three-basic principles of the State and to formulate the perfect essence of the NCA. I urge all from the political spectrum to vow and respect the provisions of the NCA with deep hearted,” Senior General said.
As a matter of fact, the KNU/KNLA and PDF allied forces committed terror shooting against the pilgrims of the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda at the pagoda’s Kinpun base camp, in which three women died at the scene and 19 others injured with ten were at severe life-threatening situation.
The KNU/KNLA is one of the NCA-signatory groups and committed this terror plot by breaching the NCA provisions.
With regard to the Kyaiktiyo incident, the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) strongly condemned the KNU/KNLA for committing the terror shooting against the public crowded site at the gate of Kinpun base camp of the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda by violating the NCA provisions.
Also, the spokesperson of the SAC Major General Zaw Min Tun responded over the NUG’s battle cry to increase destructive acts that all sabotages and terrorist acts that will be done by the NUG are assured to eliminate referring the Kyaiktiyo shooting.
