Insurgents’ artillery shelling kills civilian in Kawkareik

Artillery shelling launched by the joint forces of Karen armed troops and PDF terrorists killed a woman and injured four others in Kawkareik, Kayin State, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.
The joint insurgent forces attacked the security forces that were guarding at Khin Nei Mu inspection gate at the entrance of Kawkareik on 27 October at an estimated 12 pm with heavy weapons, rockets, and artilleries.
One woman died and four others were wounded in four explosions by the landed artilleries in residential areas in Kawkareik city.
The civilian fatality occurred in Kawkareik on 21 October by the insurgent joint forces of KNLA and PDF attack against the city.
Again on 25 October, a woman was wounded in PDF’s drone bombs on a high school located in Kawkareik.
