Public #protests against the #United_Nations_Security-Council’s resolution on #Myanmar, that have been made on December 21 with a provocative motive, have sprung up across the country.

On December 30, rejectionists in Mandalay’s Aung Myay Thar Zan Township marched a protest denouncing the UN resolution on Myanmar using the slogan ‘Denounce UNSC’s one-sided resolution’, ‘Myanmar is the only solution for Myanmar’s Problem’, ‘No external actors who encourage terrorists’, ‘No - NUG, CRPH, PDF’, ‘PDF - Stop Killing Unarmed Civilians, Sanghas and Civilian Staff’, and ‘Stop PDF’s Arbitrary Killings’.

Again, on January 2, Mon State residents staged a protest to condemn the UNSC’s prejudice. They marched the demonstration column at the Than Lwin Garden in Mawlamyaing Township.

Protestors from both day demonstrations showed peaceful objections.

As a matter of fact, many average Myanmar nationals who want to live in peace, simply object provocative external factors and any humiliation against the country’s sovereignty. It is clear that, especially, those who were subjected to be the victims in the arbitrary assassinations and extra judicial killings conducted by the so-called PDF terrorists are increasingly becoming fear them (the PDFs) with loathing.

Protesters rejected the external interventions, which actually are neglecting and supporting the NUG and PDF’s inhumane prosecutions of unarmed civilians and PDF and NUG’s threats towards the civil staff mainly from educational and health sectors.

Before these protests, the protestors from Yangon demonstrated in front of the American Embassy, British Embassy and United Nations Office in Myanmar on December 28.
