Three Myanmar-China border crossings expected to reopen on January 8

Chinese Embassy in Myanmar released an announcement on January 5 that #Myanmar_China border gates for the trade route including: Ruili border crossing, Jiegao border crossing, warehouses and markets are planned to be reopened on January 8.

The gates will be reopened to provide more convenient services for the local people so as to promote the socio-economic lives of the resident and to uplift the bilateral relations in the aspects of economic and trade relations, the Chinese embassy’s statement said.

When the gates have been opened, the freight trucks will be able to pass through the gates from 6:30 am to 9:30 am of Myanmar time zone.

The vehicles accompanying along civil staffs are allowed to pass through the Nandaw gate from 6:30 am to 8:30 am of Myanmar time zone.

Passenger vehicles, motorcycles and electric vehicles will be passing through the route on the market sites from 6:30 am to 8:30 am.

According to the Chinese embassy, preparations for the traffic management and commodity flow have been carried out by the administration departments from the both sides.
