Five killed in shooting on Independence Day in Mandalay

According to the Myanmar Police Forces, five civilians were shot dead on Myanmar’s Independence Day which fell on January 4 in some townships in #Mandalay. Two men have not yet identified.

The police found two dead bodies and one alive with wounds at the road side of Natogyi-Pyinsi express way located south of Gway Pin Taw village, Natogyi Twonship at an estimated 8 am on January 4.

Similarly at an estimated 10 pm, the administrator of Si Kaung village, Nganzun township, namely U Thein was shot dead while he was with his wife at home by the #terrorists came by motor cycle.

Again on January 4 at an estimated 12 am, the resident of Taung Lal village, Htun Naing was abducted by five terrorists while he was with his family at home in Thabeikkyin Township, according to the police.

He was found dead with stab wounds at the throat in the southwest of the village in the next morning.

Authorities are investigating the incident to seize the committed criminals.
