Fatality occurs in terror shooting by KNU, PDF in Thaton

The ally forces of insurgent KNUs and #terrorist #PDFs, approximately 20 members, committed a terror shooting against the civil workers who were working at the underwater pipeline construction in Thaton on January 14 at an estimated 8 am, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
The construction was under Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise located in Katike Village, Thaton.
In the incident, two male workers who were identified Hlaing Hlaing Win and Wai Yan Min died on the spot from gun injuries; and six others including Than Htet Aung, Moe Min, Nay Win Aung, Maung Latt, Nyein Ko Ko Aung and Paw Tun Aung were wounded.
The terrorists abducted two senior officers from the site, namely Myo Thant and Win Tun. Authorities are trying to get back the abducted officers.
