Ye Bridge checkpoint raided by Ye-PDF, fatality occurs

Fire exchange occurred between State-security forces and #Ye_PDF on 19 February at an estimated 7 am at Ye Bridge checkpoint, in which fatality from both sides occurred.
The security forces involve Tatmadaw, police forces and people’s security forces. Approximately 20 #PDF attacked the security forces, according to official from Mon State Government.
“The security forces including polices, military and people’s security forces were conducting security measures at Ye Bridge gate. Approximately 20 PDF from Ye attacked the security forces with 40 MM,” the official said.
According to the Mon State Government, one dead body and a launcher of terrorists were seized. From the military and police side, a member of people’s security force who is a veteran and an officer were died in the clash.
A passenger express was damaged during the incident. Civilian casualty has not yet identified.
