The Vesak Day to be exquisitely celebrated in Naypyidaw at State level

The Vesak Day (Full Moon Day of Kason) is projected to be held as the State level celebration more exquisitely than former years
Ko Ko, the Union Minister for the Religious Affairs and Culture, said it during his coordination meeting held at ministry assembly hall in Naypyidaw on 27th April.
The Union Minister said that formerly, the Vesak Day “the Full Moon Day of Kason, the second month of Myanmar calendar,” used to be celebrated just by pouring water at the noble Banyan trees as a tradition.
There will be five programs of the agenda, there include donation of offerings and meal to the Venerable Monks, holding symposium, Kason Water pouring ceremony at Bayan trees, procession to pay respects to the Buddha holding candle lights and Dhamma knowledge dissemination section.
On upcoming Vesak Day, there will also be a rice donation ceremony toward more than 10,000 Buddhist Monks from Mandalay city.
Similarly, it is also reported that, in Magwe Township, there will be water pouring ceremony to banyan trees or Bodhi trees from Myathalun Pagoda Festival to commemorate the Vesak Day. At the pagoda festival, more than 1,000 venerable Buddhist monks from altogether 96 Buddhist monasteries will also be donated rice and other noble offerings.
Also in Yangon, there will be rice offering ceremony towards altogether 11,111 Venerable Sanghas on the early morning of the 2nd May.
