The Department of Metrology and Hydrology updated the weather forecast this morning at 4:30 am (May 12) for Cyclone Mocha.
The severe cyclonic storm Mocha is transforming into a very severe cyclonic storm Mocha within six hours. On May 14 (this Sunday) the very severe cyclonic storm Mocha will be entering between Cox’s Bazar and Kyaukphyu of Rakhine State crossing near Sittwe.
Due to the severe cyclonic storm Mocha, the wind will blow up to 40 to 45 miles per hour at the maximum in Magwe, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyawady, and Rakhine within 24 hours.
