New Myanmar-China border policy welcomes business travelers starting October 1st

Starting October 1st, the Myanmar-China border crossings in Muse, located in northern Shan State, will now permit the entry and exit of travelers who hold official business visas.
On October 1st, the Nandaw checkpoint on the Muse-Ruili border was opened.
A Chinese citizen who was officially granted permission to enter and exit with an official business visa received a warm welcome from officials from both sides of the border.
Myanmar officials also arranged transportation and hotel accommodations to ensure the convenience of his journey to Lashio.
Furthermore, Myanmar officials also gave assistance to Chinese citizen travelers by explaining the visa regulations for their smooth and informed travel experience.
