Union Minister for Home Affairs as well as the chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Lieutenant General Yar Pyae convened a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Chen Hai in Naypyidaw on 14th November.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters related to the friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and China, as well as the maintenance of law and order, stability, tranquility, and security in the shared border areas.

Furthermore, they also discussed measures to counter online scams and the implementation of Myanmar's peace processes.

Presently, in certain regions of Shan State and along the Myanmar-China border, there has been an escalation of armed conflicts between Myanmar Military Forces and MNDAA, TNLA, and AA. Consequently, personnel responsible for border areas are actively coordinating efforts to ensure safety and security along the border area.
