Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds talks with Russian Deputy FM

On 20 February, Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held a meeting with a delegation led by Mr. Andrey Rudenko, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The meeting took place at the Credentials Hall of the SAC Chairman's Office in Naypyidaw.
During the meeting, the status of flights between the two countries, which can have a positive impact on the improvement of the tourism industry and trade, as well as cooperation for the peaceful utilization of nuclear technology, was discussed.
They also discussed the promotion of the tourism and trade sectors between the two countries, cooperation in the improvement of social and education sectors, plans to supply a sufficient volume of fertilizer to Myanmar, further cooperation in bilateral relations, and collaborative efforts in generating hydropower and producing electricity from solar energy.
It is also reported that Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Myanmar Lwin Oo and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mr. Andrey Rudenko discussed political matters between the two countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Naypyidaw.
Between the two foreign ministries, they discussed matters related to strengthening and cooperation in defense, security, transportation, trade, and investment.
