International airport project built in Mudon attacked by drop bomb

It has been reported that terrorists attacked the construction site of an international airport project with drop bomb in Mudon Township, Mon State.

The incident occurred on 6 April at an estimated 10 am at an airport in Kawpayan Village, Mudon Township.

"Yes, bombing occurred at an estimated 10 am. A car at the site was damaged. But no one was injured," a source close to the Mon State Government told NP News.

The international level airport project is being implemented on 3447.42 acres of land near Kawoayan Village in Mudon Township, Mon State.

It is reported that the farmers who suffered damages due to the project have been paid land compensation up to 19 billion kyat at the rate of 40 million kyat per acre.
