MAI celebrates inaugural flight ceremony of Yangon via Vientiane

Myanmar Airway International (MAI) celebrated Yangon via Vientiane's inaugural flight ceremony on 25 June at Yangon International Airport.
During the event, the Ambassador of Laos to Myanmar, H.E Heuangseng Khamdalavong delivered a congratulations speech for the opening ceremony of Yangon via Vientiane flight.
According to Mr. Heuangseng Khamdalavong, Myanmar and Laos signed to operate the direct flight between Yangon and Vientiane, as Myanmar and Laos are neighbors, honoring good friendship, mutual trust, and understanding. It is also expected to promote trade and investment, especially in the tourism sector by cooperating in the aviation sector.
In addition, the MAI aims to facilitate cultural exchanges between the countries and provides services on the exploration for Laos people and foreign travelers from Vientiane offering them the chance to discover hidden gentle Myanmar, Mr. Tanes Kumar, the acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer.
The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of MAI U Aung Aung Zaw, the Director General from the Myanmar Department of Civil Aviation, U Kyaw Soe, the Ambassador of Laos to Myanmar, Mr. H.E Heuangseng Khamdalavong including business partners and friends.
