According to the source close to the security forces, the PDF terrorists forced the parents of students – from 16 villages in Kalewa Township, Sagaing Region – who are studying in other cities and areas to call back their children within three days. The PDF terrorists summoned the locals on 10 and 11 August and threatened them to call back their children.
The report states that the PDFs abducted one of the parents while the rest had to contact the children to tell them to come back.
